Leasing firm says AI let 1 person do in 1 week a job planned for 6 people, about 6 months

Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing, a Japanese leasing company, announced a way of building software in which AI writes the code. The company said an update to its own cloud service, planned for 6 people over about 6 months, was finished by 1 person in 1 week. It says a separate AI tests the code and an employee checks it last.
