IceShoreRadar AI × Software Maintenance

Editorial policy

What we cover

As AI-assisted development spreads, it is prompting a rethink not only of how software is built but also of how systems are maintained. We hope to help developers find their own approach by delivering news on system maintenance.

Every morning, we publish one featured story and two short stories on system maintenance, on this site and on social media.

Sources

We use only information whose source can be checked: announcements from governments and public agencies, official company announcements, reporting by news organizations, research from universities and research institutions, and statements from people in the industry whose identity we can verify. When we cite a paper that has not been peer reviewed, we say so. We don’t publish rumors or information of unknown origin.

We sometimes cover news a day or more after it was announced. When we do, the story gives the date of the original announcement. Every story cites its sources.

How we write

We report facts in our own words. We don’t copy the original article’s text or headline, or translate them word for word. We don’t present opinions as facts.

Stories and images are produced by AI from their sources. Before publishing, they pass AI and automated checks, but no person reads them. For details, see our Terms of Use.

Photos and images

We use only photos we are permitted to use, and we credit the photographer, the source and the license. We don’t use images from the articles we cite, or logos as standalone images. A company’s logo or name may appear within a photo.

Corrections and removal

When we find an error, we correct the story and add a note with the date and what we changed. On social media, we post the correction as a reply to the original post.

If a rights holder or a person shown in a photo asks us to remove a story or photo, we will remove it promptly. Please send error reports, feedback and removal requests to support@iceshore.ai.
